Cerrato leads new research center focused on climate resilience

José M. Cerrato, a professor in the Gerald May Department of Civil, Construction & Environmental Engineering, is leading an interdisciplinary team of collaborators from UNM Main Campus and UNM Health Sciences to identify gaps in health care that can inform strategies to protect vulnerable communities in New Mexico from climate change. This $3.83 million award is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH)/National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) and will be housed in the Accelerating Resilience Innovations in Drylands Institute (ARID Institute).
