Student selected for transportation fellowship

Junior undergraduate Maria Cruz was selected for the Minority Student Fellowship from the Transportation Research Board (TRB), a division of the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Through this program, Maria was lead author on her own research paper. After going through peer-review with 6,000 other papers, Maria's research was selected for publication (top 20%). She is pictured receiving an award for her accomplishments from the outgoing and incoming TRB Executive Directors in Washington, DC.
