Dr. Ross to deliver inaugural address and announces his retirement

Dr. Timothy Ross, Professor of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering, will deliver the inaugural address at the Workshop on Fuzzy Logic Applications for Civil and Environmental Engineers at Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, India, Jan. 21-24, 2019. The workshop intends to convey to participants, especially civil and environmental engineers, that Fuzzy logic is not Fuzzy. Dr. Ross’s book, Fuzzy Logic with Engineering Applications, is a valuable reference for many scholars working in the area of soft computing.
Dr. Ross has also announced his retirement from UNM effective January 21, 2019.
