New Graduate Student Justin Nichols Receives ASCE Outstanding Senior Award

Justin Nichols, who works on Dr. Gonzalez-Pinzon’s research team, received the New Mexico ASCE Outstanding Senior Award at the ASCE regional transportation conference on April 19, 2018. The award is given each semester to a graduating senior in “recognition of the high degree of scholarship attained during college coursework in Civil Engineering and active involvement in their ASCE Student Chapter”. Justin was selected to be UNM’s spring 2018 outstanding senior by UNM’s Civil Engineering faculty. Justin is truly humbled by the award, and he aims to maintain his high scholastic performance through his upcoming graduate program.
