PhD Candidate, Su Zhang, Receives National Award

Su Zhang, a PhD candidate in civil engineering, has worked tirelessly to advance interdisciplinary research in the area of remote sensing applications for the assessment of civil engineering infrastructure. Based on his work, the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) has awarded Su the Leica Scholarship. This national award aims to facilitate graduate-level studies and career goals that address new and innovative uses of signal processing, image processing techniques, and the application of photogrammetry to real-world techniques within the earth imaging industry.
