Stormont receives research award

John Stormont receives Stamm Outstanding Research Award
Dr. John Stormont, Professor in CCEE, has been awarded the UNM School of Engineering Stamm Outstanding Research Award for the academic year 2019-2020. Dr. Stormont’s research interests include near surface water and energy balance, rock mechanics, and waste isolation. He joined the CCEE faculty in 1995. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona in geological engineering.
