Our Department Receives a New Name

The UNM Department of Civil Engineering has officially become the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering.
The faculty voted to change the name to reflect the breadth and diversity of the academic opportunities that are available to both undergraduate and graduate students. The new name also indicates the broad areas of research that are conducted by the faculty in the department.
Soon we will have a new departmental logo - look for it on our website in the weeks ahead!
