Graduate Student James Fluke Won First Place in LoboBITES Competition
November 16, 2017
Graduate Student James Fluke, advised by Dr. Gonzalez-Pinzon, won first place in LoboBITES Competition. LoboBITES are three minute presentations on a thesis, dissertation, or other substantial research project. Think of them as short TED talks. To be successful, students must present their research in a compelling and easily digestible way, using language and terms appropriate for a general, “non-academic audience”. Our graduate student James Fluke won this competition describing his research on the "Characterization of Bacterial Impairment along the Rio Grande near Albuquerque."
