School of Engineering Honors Alumni

The University of New Mexico School of Engineering is recognizing the accomplishments of seven of its alumni during its Distinguished Alumni Award event on September 22. The event is being held at the Embassy Suites, 1000 Woodward Place NE, Albuquerque.

Included among the 2016 honorees are:

Rick L. Marquardt, a graduate of the Department of Civil Engineering. Marquardt, of Albuquerque, is chairman and CEO of Jaynes Corp. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UNM in 1984.

The Young Alumni Award will be presented to Jason W. Harrington, a graduate of the Department of Civil Engineering. Harrington received a bachelor’s degree in construction management from UNM in 1998. He is president and CEO of HB Construction.
