Successful NMSPE Conference

Four of our faculty members were involved in the NMSPE Issues Conference on November 13 at the UNM Science and Technology Park.  Walter Gerstle, who is President Elect of NMSPE, helped to organize the conference. Fernando Moreu, our most recent addition to the CE faculty, gave a presentation on drones. Mark Stone moderated a panel discussion about the proposed Gila Water Diversion Project. Bruce Thomson, gave a talk on the Kirtland Airforce Base fuel spill.  Other topics included ABC-Z Project-Comprehensive Plan Update & Zoning Overhaul, Ethics, and Solar Power Feasibility and Battery Technology.
