Professors Assure Safety of Bridge Foundations

UNM Civil Engineering Professors Tang-Tat (Percy) Ng and Arup Maji are helping the NM Department of Transportation assure the safety of bridge foundations. Inspection procedures including sonic wave propagation and magnetic induction are being developed for wood, concrete and steel bridge foundations across the state.
