Dr. Mark Russell and Graduate Student Joshua Ellison Named to AGCs Best People List

The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) of New Mexico has recognized 25 individuals as winners of its 2015 Best People Awards. Dr. Mark Russell from the UNM Department of Civil Engineering was named as one of three winners for the Outstanding Educator of the Year Award. Dr. Russell is the AGC Endowed Chair and head of the construction education program at UNM. He is also the faculty advisor for the AGC Student Chapter. Also named to the list of best people was Joshua Ellison, a graduate student in the civil engineering program at UNM. Joshua was recognized as the Outstanding AGC/UNM Student Chapter Member. During the 2014-2015 academic year, Joshua served as President of UNM’s AGC Student Chapter.
