New Chapter of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute
January 25, 2016
Dr. Fernando Moreu, Assistant Professor, is starting a new student chapter of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) here at UNM. His postdoctoral student Dr. Ali Ozdagli will be leading the efforts. This is intended to be a multidisciplinary effort so it is not necessarily structures only, although it will have a significant component of dynamics and structural design. We are interested in students from different areas, not just structures. Please note that it is a student run group, so it is intended to be a fun group for students, both grad and undergrad students.
If interested, students can contact Ali directly, aozdagli@unm.edu, or Dr. Moreu, fmoreu@unm.edu. It is a good opportunity for students to serve their fellow, less experienced, students.
