Dr. Haobing Liu has joined the CCEE faculty as Assistant Professor in Transportation Engineering. Dr. Liu is focused on energy, emissions, and air quality modeling of transportation sectors, with special interests in exploring innovative technologies and policies that shape sustainable transportation systems. Dr. Liu currently teaches Highway & Traffic Engineering on the undergraduate and graduate level, and Survey & Geomatics in undergraduate level. Dr. Liu is a Young Member (<35 years old) in the standing committee on Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas Mitigation (AMS10) at Transportation Research Board (TRB). He received his PhD in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA.
