Applications Open for Transportation Fellowship Program
May 21, 2020
Every year for the past few years, The University of New Mexico has been awarded an opportunity to host a “Local Competition” for the prestigious Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship program. Recently, we received notice from the U.S. Department of Transportation that we have been awarded another opportunity to do so this year. Students who are continuing studies at UNM in 2020-2021 may be interested in applying for this fellowship. It is open to both undergraduates (junior and senior level only) and graduate students. Graduate students do not have to be U.S. citizens, but must have completed an undergraduate degree at a U.S. accredited institution of higher education.
Interested students can read the funding notice here. In addition, students should also let Claude Morelli, Research Scholar in Transportation Planning, know via email (morellic@unm.edu) if they are interested in applying.
The application deadline is Friday, June 12 at noon.
