Dr. Taha Elected as American Concrete Institute Fellow

Dr. Mahmoud Reda Taha, Professor and Chair of the Civil Engineering Department, has been elected a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) in recognition of his contribution to the work of ACI.
Election is based upon outstanding contributions to the production or use of concrete materials, products and structures in the areas of education, research, development, design, construction, or management. In addition, a Fellow shall have made significant contributions to ACI through committees and/or local chapters. ACI Fellows are highly respected in the concrete community.
Formal announcement of Dr. Taha’s election will be made at the ACI Spring 2017 Concrete Convention and Exposition on Sunday, March 26, 2017, in Detroit, MI.
