Dr. Moreu Appointed to Advisory Committee
January 21, 2016
Dr. Fernando Moreu has been invited to serve on the UNM Permanent Advisory Committee for the Prince of Asturias Endowed Chair professorship and has accepted this invitation. The purpose of the Permanent Advisory Committee is to foster research, scholarly collaboration, and public and private partnerships involving the Endowed Chair and Spain on an ongoing basis.
The Prince of Asturias Endowed Chair professorship was established in 2000 at the University of New Mexico with the support of Iberdrola, a Spanish energy company, and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Spain. This position was created to establish meaningful partnerships between Spain, Latin America, and the University of New Mexico.
