Financial Aid
There are many resources available to undergraduate and graduate students seeking help in funding their education: through the School of Engineering, the University, and private and other non-UNM sources from local, regional, and national industries, professional associations, and employers. We want to encourage students to investigate all avenues of financial aid available and to make application to any sources for which you may qualify.
UNM offers scholarships and financial aid through the UNM Scholarship Office. UNM's Financial Aid Office provides information on funding sources in the forms of academic grants and loans.
Graduate students can also check the funding opportunities offered by the Office of Graduate Studies.
The Civil,Construction and Environmental Engineering Department offers approximately $70,000 in scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students. This is in addition to other scholarships available from the School of Engineering and UNM.
For graduate students, there are several department scholarships dedicated only for them.
