Biography
My research and teaching focus on near-surface hydrologic processes in dryland watersheds. I’m particularly interested in developing better tools for predicting runoff to help communities plan and prepare for flash flood disasters. Before joining UNM, I spent 15+ years working as a hydrologist for a local flood control agency. Given this background, my work tries to bridge the gap between research and practice.
