Biography
Dr. Ng is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is a nationally recognized leader in the field of micromechanics of granular materials. His current research focuses on computational geomechanics and micromechanics of granular materials. Dr. Ng has been a civil engineer with the United Geotechnical Corp (Taiwan) where he designed building foundations. Dr. Ng has also served as a Senior Research Scientist at the United States Air Force Research Laboratory. He has more than 75 peer reviewed scientific publications. He has delivered the keynote lecture to the Hong Kong Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. Dr. Ng is the holder of the Luojia professorship at the Wuhan University.
