Below is a summary of the documents required for admission and to which office they should be submitted. All application materials must be received by 5:00 pm on the day of the deadline.
For US Citizens and Permanent Residents

- Application Form, completed and signed
- Residency Form, completed and signed
- Application fee of $50.00 (non-refundable)
- One official transcript from EACH academic institution you have attended. You do NOT need to submit a UNM transcript if you have attended UNM

- Completed International Graduate Application for Admission Form
- Application fee of $50.00 (non-refundable)
- Evidence of English language proficiency: IELTS (www.ielts.org) or TOEFL (www.toefl.org) or Cambridge CPE or CAE (http://www.cambridge-efl.org/).
- TOEFL codes: institution 4845, department 65
- Academic records – one official copy of each academic record from all colleges and universities attended or a certified copy of official documents bearing the original stamps, seals, and signatures of the issuing institution’s designated officials plus English translations, if applicable
- Recommended but not required - Course by course evaluation of all international academic transcripts with a calculated U.S. grade point average, to be completed by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (www.naces.org/members.htm)
- Financial guarantee – UNM Certification of Financial Responsibility and supporting documentation
