Civil Engineering has extensive laboratory facilities and the $42M Centennial Engineering Center building which opened in 2008 provides state of the art laboratories and equipment. Many UNM students use the world-class facilities in the national laboratories (Sandia, Los Alamos and Air Force) in close proximity.
